10.05 Cafe

Slept around 2 or 3am, and woke up at 8. Usually I'd wake up at 9 or 10 but I couldn't go back to sleep at all so just got out of bed.. Ate a stew with rice and a bit of Jjajjangmyun for breakfast. Stayed downstairs again while on my laptop (was researching some stuff to bake in the future and some good bakeries here) with the TV on FoodNetwork. Randomly started watching about 25 minutes of another Korean drama, "Rough Cut." An action packed movie with gangsters ft. So Ji Sub, another favorite actor of mine. Snacked on a sugar cookie and Taiyaki (took out the red bean though) with Tazo Green Tea.

Today I visited Yuni at the Cafe where she works at since I told her I'd visit for sure yesterday. Before I left, Nicole wanted to hang out at the mall but I didn't have the time.. I wanted to get to the Cafe before 3 so that I could order off the lunch menu lolol Not many people were there and it wasn't too busy so we got to talk a bit.

They didn't have any takoyaki ;c so I settled with agedashi tofu. I ordered hamburg steak with a fried egg on top and a yaki imo cake, which is basically two slices of sweet potato with ice cream and whipped cream and chocolate sauce. The dessert was delicious. I was just planning to eat savory food there then eat dessert at Chinatown or Greenland but I'm glad I tried it. Was $6 though.. My bill came to about $25 in all, considering I ordered off the lunch menu. I could not finish any of my food haha so I eventually got Yuni to eat like a third of my food.

..and I ended up not going to Chinatown afterwards...waited for Yuni to get off at 6:15-ish so I was there for over 3 hours haha. It really was not busy at all. But I got to know the owner, Kichi-san, pretty well. Even went up to sit at the counter to join in the conversations and see some of the creations Kichi-san made. I volunteered to work at two of their upcoming events next week. I gave into ordering more while waiting. I got a Chocolate Parfait that Yuni recommended (It had chocolate coffee beans, a wafer and pocky stick, chocolate sauce, vanilla ice cream, whipped cream and corn flakes which were the best part I think) and also a hot Siphon hot coffee with agave syrup. It was quite strong than I was used to. So I dolloped some whipped cream from the parfait into it lol. Yuni helped me with the parfait~ So spent another $10 there. Yuni hooked up her iPod to the Cafe's speakers so her playlist was playing the whole time she worked. There was this one song I really liked, "I Remember" by Bang Yong Gook. I haven't read the English translation yet but it's a sad song for sure and the video is kinda explicit, even Yuni said it wasn't for me haha. Another song I'm addicted to x)

Went to Chinatown afterwards so that I could buy more yogurt drinks at 99 Ranch before my mom picked me up. Bought 4 packs~ She was sooo hungry so we ended up going to Kapit Bahay, I think it's called? and ate Filipino food. You don't know how full I was... I ate some Pinakbet anyhow. When I got home I finished the rest of "Rough Cut." The ending was one of those that left you hanging, but it was still okay I guess. My little brother made spaghetti (remember I told you I taught him how to make it) and came into my room telling me to try some. It was pretty good, he did justice to it. So I ended up eating again... ughhhhh too much food, I think I'll lay off of food tomorrow......

I got my glasses that I ordered offline at night. They're so strong cause I'm not used to my new prescription yet.. idk but I might refund it; it's really big for my face...

"I like you. Good night, sleep tight."

Yogurt Drinkss~ <3
